Football Predictions: Who Publishes Them and What the Claims Are Worth

PredictionDesk is an independent site about the football prediction business. We look at how prediction sites present themselves, what their claims mean in plain language, and how a reader in Nigeria can judge any of it without being sold to.

We publish no predictionsLast checked 22.10.2026

What this site will not do

  • No tips. Not for a league match, not for a cup tie, not as a “small” banker.
  • No promises. No method here is called proven and none is sold as a way to make money.
  • No invented numbers. Where a win rate would be expected, you get why a trustworthy one is hard to obtain.
  • No ranking of tipsters. You get a method for checking any of them yourself.

What Football Prediction Sites Do Not Tell You

We publish no predictions for upcoming matches. We sell nothing. We are not a tipster, and we take no position on whether you should bet. What we do is explain the industry: the words it uses, the markets it points to, the numbers behind the tips, and the questions worth asking before you act on anything you read elsewhere.

Who this site is for

It is for the reader who has seen a page promising sure odds, or a correct score tip posted as if it were settled fact, and wants to understand what is actually being offered. It is for the person comparing two prediction sites and unsure what to compare. It is for anyone who wants to read a tipster's record without being fooled by a screenshot.

For readers who would rather look than be told.

You do not need to be a bettor to use this site. Many readers are simply curious about how the prediction trade works, why it is so large in Nigeria, and where the money moves. If you do bet, nothing here tells you what to back. It only helps you read the pitch more carefully.

What this site refuses to do

We will not give you a tip. Not for a league match, not for a cup tie, not as a "small" banker. The moment a site starts handing out selections, it has a stake in how you read it.

An empty dugout bench in driving rain at night
No tips, no sure things, no seat sold at the touchline.

We will not promise profit. No method on this site is described as working, and no approach is recommended as a way to make money. If a page elsewhere says a system cannot lose, that claim is our subject, not our product.

We will not name prediction services or bookmakers to praise or attack them. We explain how such businesses operate in general, so you can check any of them yourself.

We will not invent numbers. You will find no win rates, no user counts, no returns, and no testimonials here, because we have not measured them and will not pretend otherwise.

We will not tell you what to stake. Money talk on this site stays general, in naira, and always with the same point: any amount you put on a bet is money you should be able to lose without harm.

How to read this site

Nothing here is financial advice, and nothing here is a tip. Treat every page as a way to ask better questions: who is making this claim, what would prove it, and what happens to my naira if it is wrong.

If a page on another site cannot survive those questions, that tells you something. If it can, you are better placed to judge it. That is the whole purpose of PredictionDesk.
